Sky Sjue, Andy Traslin and I climbed from the Silver-Skagit Road (approached from near Hope, BC, Canada) and skied the NE Face of this peak. We encountered the feared and predicted “slurpee death” common in this area before the snowpack has completed its early-summer consolidation. We went anyway.
