Skied the East Ridge of Timpanogos with Derek Weiss, Dave “Gramps” Sheimbob, JTrue and Tom. Its about a 6,000′ descent, all fall-line, and in my opinion one of the best runs in Utah. All photos stolen from Derek Weiss’ kick-ass website.

The line is the obvious ridge seen above a local in the Solitude Resort parking lot.

Team assault near the summit.

Gramps dropping in. Mt. Nebo is the peak way in the distance, actually the highest in the Wasatch.

In hindsight, it was senseless for me to have the Avalung out at this time. The whole slope is above several 100'+ cliff bands.

Timp as seen from my parents house, the house I grew up in, in Midway. The East Ridge can be seen glowing in the late-afternoon light.
